FNM's Health Projects

We have initiated a training program for members of the local community on the subject of indigenous plants and traditional Tibetan medicinal practices. The trainees will later participate in an internship. It is also planned to pass down lineage knowledge and skills to other members of the monastic community. This will benefit the health of the community at large, who at present mainly utilize allopathic medicine. Eye camps and dental camps providing specialized care to the local communities have been conducted with great success Since last two years the Organization is dealing with new Dental implant technology with the collaboration of Dr. Asish Sadana (BDS) who has recently been awarded by International Congress of Oral Implantologist (USA) and Our Dental staff
